Gurupournima at Siddhagiri Math

Shri Muppin Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji Maharaj – 48th Mathadhipati of Siddhagiri Math is the ‘Upasya Daivat’ (the deity worshipped) of Siddhagiri sampraday. Shri Swamiji Maharaj sacrificed his entire life for their shishyas’ Parmanand. The devotees also dedicated their entire lives for their sadguru due to Shri Swamiji Maharaj’s selfless act of love. Gurupournima is the most auspicious festival to showcase this respect for Shri Sadguru.

At Siddhagiri, Gurupournima is the most grandly celebrated festival. Devotees from various parts of the country throng the math to take darshan of Shri Swamiji. Bhajan, Satsang, Pravachan, Mantra – Deeksha is the traditional routine here.
