Central government’s handloom and handicraft department is keen to train 500 women in Embroidery artwork. They have chosen Siddhagiri as their collaboration partner. The infrastructure is established at Siddhagiri Math, Kaneri, Kolhapur for this training. Course duration is of 2 months, 6 hours per day and 6 days per week. The trainees will be given renumeration of Rs. 300/- per day. The training body is planning to train 25 batches of 20 candidates each. Post training, the products manufactured will be showcased and made available for sell in exhibition and festivals arranged by central government in Delhi and other parts of country. The trainees will be given travel allowance and dearness allowance to sell the products in the market.
