Siddhagiri math has been regularly conducting BAL-CHETNA & YUVA-CHETNA SHIBIRS - courses, which are helpful for personality development. These courses train the youth to become the cultured, responsible and patriotic citizens.

Purpose of conducting Bal-Chetna and Yuva-Chetna Shibir is to encourage children’s or youth’s hidden skills, preserve and prosper child’s/youths’ creativity. Recently, media like TV, internet is bombarding subjects like Bhogvaad (desire of sense enjoyment), corruption, drug addictions, ferocious fights, etc. on children mind. Unknowingly these subjects are impressed on their minds. Children are losing their focus on the righteous path. They are unable to distinguish between the good and the bad. They lack social behavioral sense.

Parents are so busy with their daily work that they are unable to pay attention to child’s emotional and imaginary world. They don’t have time for their child’s value education. Understanding this concern, Siddhagiri math started conducting Bal-Chetna and Yuva-Chetna shibir under guidance of P P Shri Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji to sow the seed of morals, social behavior, spirituality in young minds to empower the children/youth.

The courses train the youth to become the cultured, responsible and patriotic citizens.

What is taught in Bal Chetana

Participants are taught chanting of sanskrit mantras. H. H. Sangamdev Swamiji’s disciples preach Yog Sadhana to participants. Many noble and intellectual faculties are invited for the lectures on various chapters based on patriotism, spiritualism, health, history and culture. Shibirarthi- The participants of Shibir are encouraged to participate in traditional Indian games like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Langadi, etc. They are given organic and healthy diet during the shibir period. Spiritualism, Yog, Self-dependency, punctuality, etc. values are practically taught and rendered by them.

If these values are imparted to children at the early age, a generation of well-educated and virtues valuing youth can be developed. Children who have gone through the shibir training have become the pride for the society. Young ones who have undergone value-based education will be the India’s future.
